... that the map in the game MicroMacro: Crime City depicts victims of a crime for the players to solve?Source: "Solving those crimes is the goal of the game, ranging from the relatively innocuous theft of a top hat to murder most foul, all illustrated in a surprisingly cheerful, cartoony way considering the gruesome subject matter. The crimes themselves are not depicted, but clues to solving them are, cleverly designed to show multiple moments going backward in time. This allows the players to "follow" the path of the victim (and perpetrator) as they travel across the city, revealing hints as they go along." Review: 'MicroMacro: Crime City' (board game)- ALT1: ... that the game MicroMacro: Crime City was so popular after its release that print runs repeatedly sold out for eight months? Source: "The game has been making waves in the tabletop world since its release last year, with many openly wondering if it even qualifies as a board game at all. None can doubt its popularity; print runs have sold out repeatedly over the past eight months." The best board game of 2020 is a poster-sized hidden object game

- Interesting article. Earwig's is fine, the article is new enough and long enough, references all appear to be reliable, the article is within policy. Hooks are cited in the article and are broadly interesting, but they have to include the real-world in some way, so I've struck ALT0, leaving us with ALT1. I do think there is something to say about the game being scalped in a hook (the source says "Right now the $29.99 game is being scalped on Amazon for $99.99"), but this is interesting, too. I verified ALT1 and the article for accuracy and the source corresponds to the text, so that's great. QPQ done, good to go for ALT1. Urve (talk) 06:15, 27 November 2021 (UTC)
