Major Mori is a well recognized face in the Australian media, a voice of, and more importantly for, reason in a most unreasonable and irregular situation. Alex Law 08:59, 13 April 2006 (UTC)
A brave man...
editI'm not sure how we can do this in an encyclopaedic way but Major Mori is an extraordinarily brave man. He has taken on his own government's ill treatment of Gitmo prisoners as well as the Govt. of Australia who failed to protect their own citizen against the aggressive US govt. I envisage him being awarded a nobel prize one day. He has become a folk/popular hero to many Australians.

Here, here. He is everything good that America stands for - and I am sure he is accosted for that. What a good human.
Deleting phrase that Colonel Davis "backed away from his comments" as it is patently false. The article cited clearly indicates that Davis stands by his allegations that Mori went too far. --Jrk1998 00:07, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
Promoted!
editInterview on ABC (Australia) News Radio, 12 June 2009 - He just said he had been promoted to Lt. Col. - I couldn't find any reference on google, but would a radio interview i be an acceptable source?
