Name

Why does an Irish speaking author, who wrote in Irish about life in the Gaeltacht and was published under his Irish name, only appear on Wikipedia under an Anglicised name? ⚜ Moilleadóir ✍ 06:41, 21 February 2024 (UTC)

• Really good question. I propose it be changed to the name he is most commonly known as, and the name he called himself. There is no call for its anglicisation - Alison ^talk 19:43, 8 October 2024 (UTC)
• Moved it, per WP:BOLD and the fact that almost all the linking references his name as Gaeilge. Fixed all the redirects, too - Alison ^talk 19:50, 8 October 2024 (UTC)
