Nothing is more controversial in the Film Project that IMDb. It's not allowed to be listed in the "References" section but only as an "External link". Anyone can edit it, and it is filled with erroneous information and uncited claims. Wikipedia places the burden of proof on editors who add a disputed claim, and the burden is this: If some claim really IS true, then it will appear in more than one reliable published source. If IMDb is the ONLY place a piece of information exists, that's a big red flag. And the policy on Biographies of Living Persons is that any disputed material has to have an unimpeachable, fully acceptable, authoritative source. -- 207.237.223.118 (talk) 23:45, 1 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
