Article name

While Conway was probably "Martin" to friends and at least at some point signed his personal letters with "Martin Conway", the usual authorities suggest not dropping his first name: the Britannica (for the 1907 issue of which Conway wrote articles himself) has him as William Martin Conway, Baron Conway, while the Project Gutenberg, the Virtual International Authority File, the Library of Congress Authorities, the French SUDOC and the National Libraries of Australia, Czechia, Germany, Israel, Netherlands, the Vatican, Sweden and Switzerland all have him under Conway, William Martin, Sir, 1856-1937. The French, German, Italian, Norwegian and Swedish wikipedia articles are under William Martin Conway, while only the Bulgarian wikipedians went different, for a straight William Conway. On the other end, I find just three sources (the National Library of France, the Getty's Union list of Artists and this here article) that have "Conway, Martin" or "Martin Conway, etc." Meeting us midway, the Oxford Dictionary of National Biography has Conway, (William) Martin, Baron Conway of Allington (1856–1937) and the 1907 "Who's who" had Conway, Sir (William) Martin. Was there a compelling reason to go against the great majority of authorities and choose "Martin Conway"? Otherwise I'd suggest to move the page. Afasmit (talk) 01:08, 4 June 2014 (UTC)
