Contested deletion edit

Hi there,

Please can you clarify what you'd like to see from my Wikipedia page? I am already included in Wikipedia as an encyclopedia entry in The Apprentice (UK series ten) , therefore I'm unsure why you believe that my subject is not important enough to be included in an encyclopedia (when in fact, it already is).

I'm looking forward to hearing from you.

Mark Wright

Hi Mark, Wikipedia has a policy against Conflict of Interest editing, which means it is prohibited to make an article about yourself or anything you have a direct link to (such as ownership). Please review the page for guidelines, and perhaps think about submitting Mark Wright to Wikipedia:Requested articles so that an editor without COI may create the page if it is deemed appropriate for Wikipedia. Thank you! Nanophosis (talk) 14:16, 23 April 2018 (UTC)Reply
It looks like the speedy was declined, which means an admin agrees that you are notable. From now on, try editing articles you have a conflict of interest for on the talk page by making edit requests. Also, I suggest you read the Manual of Style, which has important information on how to correctly format articles. Thank you for your contributions. :) Nanophosis (talk) 14:37, 23 April 2018 (UTC)Reply
@Mark.e.wright: Declining to speedy delete the article does not mean that I believe that a subject meets the guidelines for notability of people, it merely emphasizes that based on the claims in the article, I cannot rule out that this is a subject worthy of inclusion. The community can still decide to delete this article using a deletion discussion and they will most likely do so unless significant coverage in reliable sources is proven to exist, so this needs to be addressed.
