Cast/characters

As a passing note, the cast/characters section here is far too long. The purpose of an encyclopedia is not to detail every aspect of a series, rather, to present a general overview of the series. We typically do this by listing the core main characters to appear in the series, but ignoring characters who didn't have much to do with storylines. Long lists of characters are best suited for their own articles, for example here: List of As the World Turns characters, and if you'll notice the main article As the World Turns, you'll see only one entry under Cast and characters. I've tagged the section as needing cleanup multiple times, but Damián80 keeps removing the tag and then reverting to whatever version he decides he wants. I've tried to explain this on his talk page and mine, to no avail. --AussieLegend (✉) 19:10, 14 August 2014 (UTC)

Well, I think with detailing the main characters is sufficient for there to itemize all, I can create a list of characters and place the rest of the cast there.--Damián (talk) 20:14, 14 August 2014 (UTC)
