Talk:Mangaroa railway station

Please provide references to Cruickshank's two mills in the Mangaroa Valley. He owned 400 acres in the Valley and leased another 200 which he was required to clear. This and the construction of a siding for "Cruickshank's proposed sawmill" means that it can be inferred that Cruickshank had at least one mill in the Mangaroa Valley. However I have not seen any evidence that any mills existed. A second mill was on land owned by Rawson or Benge so was unlikely to belong to Cruickshank.Llama234 (talk) 04:05, 12 November 2019 (UTC)Llama234 (talk) 20:04, 6 November 2019 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Llama234 (talkcontribs) 19:53, 6 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

I have references to the material I have added. The reference templates do not match my sources (Archives NZ) so I will try and insert the references manually.Llama234 (talk) 03:13, 10 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
