His DEATH HAS BEEN REPORTED in a Facebook Group "Orient FC - Remembering the 70's" - sorry I am disabled neurologically and do not have patience to edit properly anymore -

"Very sad news greets us this morning with the announcement of the death of Malcolm Slater. Sadly, Malcolm died on the 20th January 2021, he suffered from Alzheimer's for a number of years. He was eighty-one Born in Buckie, Scotland on the 22nd October 1939. Malcolm began his career up North before enjoying his better days down in east London between 1966 through to 1970. Information from Davis Watson suggests that he remained local living in Westcliff-on-sea. Condolences to his family, friends and Orient supports who knew him.
