Originally a UK book edit

Hi there, this series was first published in the UK by Bloomsbury (and only after that in the US by Harper Collins) I changed this. Arnoutf 13:37, 6 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Magkycover2.jpg edit

Image:Magkycover2.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Assessment edit

As requested on WikiProject Children's Literature, I have checked this article for assessment and agree with the current rating of C class. To improve, I recommend adding more reliable sources, replacing the 'Trivia' section with another section to cover the material, adding a sectino about the book cover to rplace the comments in the lead paragraph, and extending the lead paragraph to provide a more comprehensive summary of the article. If you have any comments on this assessment, please leave them on my talk page. strdst_grl (call me Stardust) 12:22, 11 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

"...about five years ago." in "Film adaptation" edit

That phrase needs to be changed to be a bit more exact. In a few years, it will not be accurate anymore. 71.55.136.78 (talk) 22:26, 5 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

Extensive Summary edit

The summary of the book is currently around 16 paragraphs, instead of the suggested 3 for a novel of this size. What would be the best way to cut this down to a reasonable size?

It seems that there is too many details and tells the exact events instead of summing it up. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 27.122.61.189 (talk) 03:11, 1 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
