Split Proposal
editI think the article should be split for MV FRANCOP itself and operation "Four Species".
International reaction in the article about cargo ship looks funny. Shmuliko (talk) 06:43, 6 November 2009 (UTC)
I think that MV FRANCOP is not notable except in context of the operation, therefore I suggest merging this article into Operation "Four Species".Marokwitz (talk) 07:57, 8 November 2009 (UTC)
- This of course should be merged into the Operation Four Species article. This random freighter in notable except in the context of the operation.ShamWow (talk) 17:23, 8 November 2009 (UTC)
- Yes, Merge.--brewcrewer (yada, yada) 03:27, 9 November 2009 (UTC)
Legal Basis
editIs there any information on what legal basis Israel seized this ship outside of their territorial waters? Wefa (talk) 17:23, 8 November 2009 (UTC)
- This is not a forum. Though this info about illegal weapons trafficking, by Iran, should be inserted into either of the articles. --Shuki (talk) 18:19, 8 November 2009 (UTC)
- I'm quite aware of that. Nonetheless information like that should be in the article, if there are reliable sources for it. I looked for it myself but didn't find any - so instead of dropping the matter I simply asked here. Anybody seen any kind of article or quotable explanantion on what law Israel based this raid? Gruby byl kiedys
editWhat does "Gruby byl kiedys na tym statku ale nei znalazl broni bo jest pipa nie komandos." mean? --Smoggyrob | Talk 01:51, 8 November 2009 (UTC)
article about ship not the affair, cats should be removed
editKeeping the cats is making this article redundant. As it is the 'Boarding incident' section should be cut to the lead paragraph, there is a main article about the affair. --Shuki (talk) 18:40, 26 January 2010 (UTC)
