Rattigan's Tosca?
editNo such thing. Terence Rattigan did write a gay spoof on La Tosca, in which Tosca dies, but Cavaradossi survives and goes back to his boyfriend Angelotti. Rattigan called this piece Before Dawn. It was a curtain raiser to his more serious effort In Praise of Love (1973). Before Dawn was one of the worst things he ever wrote, and it was panned by the critics. I'd be very surprised to hear it was ever revived, and in Italy moreover. But if that was the case, it was called Before Dawn, not Tosca. -- JackofOz (talk) 19:46, 29 November 2009 (UTC)
