Adherence to BLP requirements

edit

This article reads like a long CV rather than an encyclopedia article. Recommend editing according to BLP best practices, including striking any uncited material (consistent with NOR). Recommend emphasizing significance of person's achievements, rather than merely listing them. For example, was the first black curator at the Met (hired 1972).[1] Aolivex (talk) 18:11, 12 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

Agreed. Who were her parents? What made her decide to go into the field of art? On another note, I don't agree that we should find out whether she was the first Black curator at the institutions she worked at: These places are so absent of people of color at the top levels in positions so desired by white people, that being simply hired as a curator as a Black person is a really, REALLY big deal. It could be stated *what* her exhibitions were about. What they showed about a particular artist.--Guide7547 (talk) 19:31, 27 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
