Orphaned references in Love This Giant edit

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Love This Giant's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "pitchfork":

  • From Actor (album): "St. Vincent Announces New Album: Actor". Pitchfork Media. Archived from the original on 8 April 2009. Retrieved 2009-04-21. {{cite web}}: Unknown parameter |deadurl= ignored (|url-status= suggested) (help)

  • From Marry Me (album): "Pitchfork Guest List: St. Vincent". Pitchfork Media. Retrieved 2007-09-05.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 22:34, 11 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

Tour dates edit

Why is it necessary to have one long list of the tour dates? It can be accessed on another site and it just makes the article look congested. That's my opinion. If it had enough content, it could go in its own article. --Jennica / talk 19:49, 12 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

@Jennica: That would not be possible as it is very likely that any such article would end up at WP:AFD for WP:CFORK and WP:NOTDIRECTORY; however, yes, it really looks cluttered and needs some cleanup. Jim Carter 19:53, 12 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
There are sources above for the tour and reviews of individual performances. ―Justin (koavf)TCM 05:18, 13 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
Yep, I noticed that Justin, but still the tour events are not historically noteworthy enough to have it's own article per ^^. I will go ahead and convert the bulleted list into a wikitable with appropriate referencing. Cheers! Jim Carter 08:13, 13 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
Correct, most tours and certainly most individual shows are not noteworthy but since this tour was a part of the marketing for this album, it's appropriate to mention it here. The question would just be to what extent. ―Justin (koavf)TCM 17:52, 13 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
The tour seems worth noting to me but the long list of tour dates is trivia. Did anything significant happen at any of them? I'm for just removing the list. RJFJR (talk) 13:41, 19 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
