Fixed width tables

The use of fixed-width tables on these pages makes the tables user-unfriendly as it makes scrolling impossible if you are halfway through a table. is there any rationale behind having the widths fixed? I've removed the fixed widths and the tables are perfectly functional. Any thoughts as to why these were fixed width? Please discuss here. Rob Sinden (talk) 11:45, 5 December 2009 (UTC)

How to make changes?

I don't know how to make changes to tables in Wikipedia, but 2 of the cartoons for 1941 also appear on the DVD set for The Maltese Falcon - Hiawatha's Rabbit Hunt and Meet John Doughboy. This is a 3-DVD set that also features earlier Warner Brothers' versions of The Maltese Falcon.Jtyroler (talk) 03:10, 28 May 2013 (UTC)

• "Proto-Sylvester" isn't a character, but noting (with a reference) that "a character resembling the future Sylvester is featured" would probably be OK. Trivialist (talk) 11:57, 23 July 2013 (UTC)

Production numbers

Using the following source

• Liebman, Roy (2003). Vitaphone Films: A Catalogue of the Features and Shorts. Jefferson, NC: McFarland. ISBN 978-0-7864-4697-1.

I've been making edits to this article and others that are part of the Looney_Tunes_and_Merrie_Melodies_filmography changing the production numbers of cartoons for which there is no available copy of the original titles. The production numbers I've added are those assigned to the cartoons by Warner Bros. as part of their Vitaphone catalog, of which the Looney Tunes cartoons are a part. In each case where I have changed the production numbers, I have supplied a citation reference to the above book, which contains a well-researched catalog of production numbers and dates for all the Vitaphone films.

However, someone has been repeatedly removing these changes and substituting production numbers whose origin I cannot discern. Unfortunately, the edits removing the changes have contained no edit summary, no citations, and there has been no discussion on this talk page so far about it. I've therefore reverted these edits on two occasions, but I'm concerned about getting embroiled in an edit war.

I'm hoping now to open a conversation about the Looney Tunes production numbers here so we can figure out the best approach. Perhaps there is a better source than the one I'm using. If so, I'd love to see us add it to this article.--Bryan H Bell (talk) 01:14, 13 August 2016 (UTC)

• The edits of the production numbers that I reverted earlier have been re-applied. I'd still like to discuss these changes so we can come to an agreement about what would best suit people reading this article. I'm certainly willing to accept these edits as a replacement for the ones I've made if we can find a better source to support the production numbers than the one I've been using above. • The Numbers that someone put Vitaphone Number like for instances 1700 to Bee Deviled Bruin, is not correct. The real Production number to Bee Deviled Bruin is 1084. I've known my numbers. I look on Dave Mackey & What About Head for those numbers. That's why those Real Production Numbers (1084) should stay there. --User:Kylefan92 01:48, 16 August 2016 (UTC)

"DVD - The Complete of Bugs Bunny

I am removing all instances of this "DVD", since it obviously does not exist. Besides the obvious grammatical error in the title, the dead giveaway is the listing of "All This and Rabbit Stew" as remastered. While it's true you can occasionally find it on dollar store cheapie public domain DVDs, it's no more remastered than any other public domain 1940s animation. I did attempt to find a reference for such a DVD and found none, though I did find something for a "Complete Bugs Bunny Collection" which turned out to be an April Fools prank post on the IAD forum (you can find that here: http://www.intanibase.com/forum/posts/t3830-Bugs-Bunny-filmography-to-be-complete-on-DVD). Given that the supposed TCM Censored Eleven adult release never materialized (referenced on its wiki page), I believe that gives further credence to this being a fake. Public domain status

So, why is the public domain status included in the list? It doesn't seem important or relevant for a list of shorts in a general encyclopedia. Trivialist (talk) 22:04, 5 June 2021 (UTC)

Aviation Vacation

According to this list, "Aviation Vacation" should be available on the European edition of "The Maltese Falcon". I've checked the British and the German release and they only include "Hiawatha"s Rabbit Hunt" and "Meet John Doughboy".
