I have never heard of the term 'Loaded march'. 'Tab' yes, 'yomp' (after 1982) yes, 'Combat Fitness Test–which replaced what was colloquially known as the 'Ten mile bash' in the mid 70s–yes, but 'Loaded march'? Where did it originate? It sounds to me like something dreamt up by a commitee, especially one who works for the MOD. The edit history provides no clue. I really doubt the authenticity of this term.

How Far Can Modern Military March in One Day? edit
The Article mentions only a three hour test. The Article would be improved if it could include at least some information on how far the modern military could march in a single day, and/or how much distance could be made in a sustained effort (over a period of several days, or weeks). The question came about as a result of media reports that this recent "caravan" of people supposedly walking from Honduras to the US border as some form of protest, and the claim that they were covering 40 miles a day, which seems extremely unrealistic to me, so I came here hoping to find information on what today's modern military could march in a day, in order to determine how realistic that 40 mile figure was. I suspect the media is not reporting that this "caravan" is being bussed, trucked or traveling by train, but instead are creating the illusion that this "caravan" partially comprised of women and children are actually walking these distances.
