East Street portion of district
editOne or two times, the article has been edited erroneously to remove mention of East Street houses included in the district. See map clearly showing National Historic Landmark District boundaries, on last page (page 72), of 1978 NRHP document authored by Ransom. The fact that East Street slopes down from the center of the village--rather steeply, in fact--is a fact known from walking the district and does not need specific sourcing unless challenged (but why would someone challenge that?). If anyone doubts, call the local public library which provides walking tour maps and has expertise about the history ... and boundaries....and geography. --doncram 22:44, 11 May 2016 (UTC)
