How to continue these? edit

Guys, how does one continue these articles? I'd like to see them done, or to do them myself, but I can't find the sources online, and the links provided in the existing pages aren't very specific either. - Renaboss (talk) 18:15, 23 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

@Renaboss: You can get any chart from http://www.officialcharts.com/charts/ by picking a date. Bearing in mind that there were several different charts in the 50s and 60s and that OCC's decision of which to pick is not universally accepted. Hope this helps - let me know if you want any help. Structure for top 10 lists edit

I have been doing lots of work on adding to and improving the individual top 10 list articles and have come up with a template structure. It is in my sandbox here. Obviously you will need to add references, images etc. but the look of the page really works in my opinion and having a consistent structure is what is needed. I am hoping to nominate some for featured list once complete. 03md 22:09, 5 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

Other similar 62 pages to be renamed

– As with Talk:List of Billboard Hot 100 top-ten singles in 2018#Requested move 14 July 2018, it seems less confusing to use "top-ten" because the current titles could be interpreted as "list of the 10 most popular singles in $year". I would not be opposed to other changes, such as retitling all the articles to "List of top-ten singles in $year (UK)", "List of UK top-ten songs in $year" or "List or "List of UK Singles Chart top-ten singles in $year". • Support, reluctantly, because on its face it seems so trivial that it's not worth it. However, I must agree that the current titles could be easily mis-interpreted to mean "list of the 10 most popular singles in year YYYY" rather than "lists of all songs that made the top-ten at some point in year YYYY". I think the current natural disambiguation is preferred to using UK in parenthetic disambiguation. --В²C 18:48, 1 November 2018 (UTC)Reply
    • Would inserting the word "all" make it even more clear? "List of all UK top-10 singles in YYYY"? --В²C 19:04, 1 November 2018 (UTC)Reply
  • If the verdict is "support", someone better write a script or a bot to make so many moves. Anthony Appleyard (talk) 05:37, 5 November 2018 (UTC)Reply
@Anthony Appleyard: It would only take about eight to twelve minutes to do it manually, which is probably about the same amount of time it would take to make a bot request. Jc86035 (talk) 18:44, 5 November 2018 (UTC)Reply
