There is a number 5, Sumsung Hub right in between 23 and 24. Should the rest be moved down?GavinTing 09:54, 15 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

One Raffles Quay edit

Aren't the One Raffles Quay North and South towers already completed? Shouldn't the North tower entry in the "Under Construction" list be moved to the Completed list? Lowjoel 12:03, 18 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Raising the maximum height limit? edit

there was discussion about raising the 280M limit, but the air authorities were only willing to increase that ceiling but a little. it the end, it was view that a moderate increase in height limit would not do much to improve the skyline, especially when compared to the height of the tallest builing in the world. so the 280M limit was retain. Fair use rationale for Image:New Singapore downtown possible look.png edit

Image:New Singapore downtown possible look.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Poor Writing edit

"The highest natural point in Singapore is at 161 metres high, which is relatively low compared to other countries. This is partly due to Singapore's particularly flat terrain."

That's not an explanation, it's stating the same fact in different words. The fact that Singapore has a relatively low highest point is not "partly due" to the fact that Singapore is particularly flat; you might as well say that Singapore is particularly flat because it has a low highest point. It's like saying that someone flies into rages a lot because they have an angry disposition, or that ice cream is bad for you because it has a deleterious effect on your health. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.197.127.136 (talk) 07:25, 10 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

"The city-state of Singapore has over 4,300 completed high-rises, the majority of which are located in the Downtown Core."

If more than 4300 building qualify for high-rise statement, it can't be right that the majority is located in the DC. I suspect that many HDB blocks and condos are counted in, in which case the majority of high-rises is spread out all over the city (country?), with only some form of denser clustering (but not a majority) in the DC. Asia Square edit

Tower 1 is done - at 221m - and I believe should be the 10th tallest, however I haven't been able to find a simple way to increment the list of each number below this by one automatically. Anyone have an easy trick to do that?  7  06:48, 5 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
