editI've been in an Ind navy sub. It is of German origin, runs on gas and pretty old. A unique feature is that it has an escape pod in the middle. Anyone know what class it is? =Nichalp «Talk»= 07:31, August 25, 2005 (UTC)
- At a guess, one of the "Shishumar class (Type 209) coastal submarines" [1]; the others are Indian-built. Shimgray 09:00, 25 August 2005 (UTC)

Is there no "visual" submarine class comparison table? Maybe it's due to the fact that it's difficult to obtain a properly scaled silhouette of each and every submarine listed? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Perpetualjon (talk • contribs) 02:39, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
