I apologize if this is a stupid or improperly formatted question, I'm not a regular contributor, I was curious why aruba is not listed on this page 174.252.33.30 (talk) 01:45, 5 February 2011 (UTC)

Miscounted? 1.Antigua & Barbuda, 2. Bahamas, 3. Barbados, 4. Cuba, 5. Dominica, 6. Dominican Republic, 7. Grenada, 8. Haiti, 9. Jamaica, 10. St Kitts & Nevis, 11. St Lucia, 12. St Vincents & The Grenadines and 13. Trinidad & Tobago. The opening paragraph says there are 16 non-sovereign nations not counting mainland Central & S American countries. What are the other three? List of sovereign states

Can anyone tell me why this article includes four South American countries (Colombia, Venezuela, Guyana and Suriname) and six Central American countries (no El Salvador) in its List of sovereign states? None of these ten countries are in the Caribbean region. This is ridiculous. Kenwick (talk) 12:35, 3 May 2018 (UTC)

• Because these countries are within a "wider Caribbean region" which actually includes those continental mainland areas bordering the Caribbean Sea. By the way, why did you move the article to List of sovereign states and dependent territories in the West Indies without discussion? Your move makes the article look messy and confusing. Additions

Shouldn't Bonaire and the Department of San Andrés and Providencia be added to dependencies.

Looking upon this article, there should be a new section for Saba, Martinique, Bonaire, Sint Eustatius, and San Andreas y Providencia. NorfolkIsland123 (talk) 00:13, 16 June 2020 (UTC)
