This article needs a lot of work, including defining what the article itself is trying to achieve. Is it a list of professional sports (would be a long list)? Information about historical roots of professionalism in each sport? The intricacies and logistics of money in each sport/events eg sportsperson sponsorship at olympics... Maybe a table of top/average salarys per sport would be beneficial to see what sorta money we're talking about. Any ideas?

NFL

Where is the NFL??? Its the biggest money pro sport in the world.

Association football section is entirely wrong

The section about association football is for some strange reason entirely about Canadian football (different sport altogether) very strange... Not sure how this could have happened — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.27.196.231 (talk) 01:37, 14 February 2020 (UTC)

Split Up Football Section

Rugby, Canadian Football, and American Football are all different sports. They each deserve their own section in the article. If you give them all their own spot on the list, you could go into more detail about all three of the sports.

In the American Football section, you should talk about the NFL, past leagues that have failed, and this new XFL league.

In the Canadian Football section, you could discuss a little history of the CFL and the differences in rules between Canadian and American Football.

In the Rugby section, it would be smart to discuss the similarities and differences between Rugby and Football, as well as professional Rugby leagues and the countries where Rugby is popular.
