Timelines

edit

Why do most lists timelines stop with 2000s when we're well into the 2010s now? 98.248.89.169 (talk) 23:02, 14 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Wrong mentions - not only cyborgs

edit

The humanoid robots like androids and terminators are not cyborgs! This page needs purification.

The term cyborg is not the same thing as bionic, biorobot or android; it applies to an organism that has restored function or enhanced abilities due to the integration of some artificial component or technology that relies on some sort of feedback.[1] While cyborgs are commonly thought of as mammals, including humans, they might also conceivably be any kind of organism.

I know this comment if 4 years old, but I came here to say exactly this. There are quite a few here, such as the Tin Man from Oz, who is a fantastical humanoid made of tin, not a cyborg. Artificially created beings, fantasy/magical creatures, outright robots, etc. should be deleted. I'll make a list of potential deletions here shortly.
