@TeriEmbrey: Regarding this edit, I understand the sentiment but please remember that this is first and foremost an encyclopaedia article, and therefore we should be making decisions based on the information presented to readers and not internal editorial concerns. Per WP:LISTCRITERIA, restricting lists of people to entries that either have articles already, or where there is a reference to support their notability, is a common practice and prevents them becoming indiscriminate and unverifiable collections of information. The large number of people on this list that didn't meet those criteria is being used as an argument for deletion in the current AfD, so I think it makes sense to be strict. – Joe (talk) 14:46, 12 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
