Several unreliable references removed edit

@Inebranlable92: per WP:SOURCES, they should have a reputation for fact checking and accuracy. le-monde-en-armes.com has 1 like on Facebook and 0 followers on Twitter, "they" (appears to be someone's personal website anyway) don't have any reputation at all. menadefense.net has already been dismissed as unreliable at User talk:Inebranlable92#YJ-12, and I feel the attempt to add it whole logged out (should you wish to deny this, I will be happy to raised the matter in the appropriate forum). Despite strategic-bureau.com charging €730.00 for a year's membership, their website contains no information about who its writers and editorial team are. Hello @FDW777, I'd like to make the case against the removal of menadefense.net as a source on information about the Algerian army, considering it's the primary media outlet on the Algerian army, and it been very reliable over the years, and to my knowledge has never made an announcement that was debunked or didn't turn out to be true over time, and you're welcome to provide evidence to the contrary. For example you mention the announcement of the acquisition of the YJ-12 system (precisely the CM-302 version), calling it false, when the CM-302 has been sighted in Algeria lately [1][2], the license plates and little markings on the transport truck are unquestionably Algerian. Several outlets have reported on this.
Another reason to keep this website is that a lot of the times it just takes information directly from the Algerian state media, with photos or videos taken from various military exercises or visits made by officials, and then proceeds to make comments about the appearance of new equipment, or the upgrades introduced to older equipment (like adding Berezhok turrets or ATGMs to some IFVs/AFVs), these small modifications are usually not important enough for sources not directly interested in the Algerian military to report on. For example in this article [3] it reported on the local modifications made to the Panhard AML, with images from official media showing these exact modifications, but it was removed as a source used in the "notes" section.
The argument about it not citing an author is simply not true, as many of the citations to that website included the name of Akram Kharief, the author behind the website [4][5], the articles on the website themselves don't mention it, but that's because he writes them himself, so there is no need to differentiate multiple authors, when clicking on the Twitter icon on the website we see that it links directly to the profile of the author. Figures provided by IISS 2023 Reference differ from some provided in this article edit

I'm reading The MIlitary Factor dated Feb 2023 referenced numerous times in this article and several figures are different than stated here. For example T90's are numbered at 572 when the reference states 600+ and T72's are numbered at 500 when the reference states 325. Can this be checked please. If other sources are being used and are considered superior to this one, they should be listed. 119.15.5.10 (talk) 05:13, 21 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
