Talk:List of crossings of the Delaware River

Cleanup suggestion edit

The state names should come out of the location column, using pipes in the town links. The information is redundant from the section titles, and will save on some cell wrapping.--J Clear 01:15, 5 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Table format edit

Why "cemter" and not center? Maybe it doesn't need to be there at all. Luxomni 00:46, 16 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

It's an obvious typo. Whoever created the table accidentally hit the "m" instead of the "n" and failed to notice it both in the source and in the fact that the cell was not in fact centered on the page. It then propagated to all the rows via cut-and-paste.
It looks fine left-justified, though. TCC (talk) (contribs) 01:20, 16 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
: I think you are right about left justified, I left my additions consistant with the others. I figured it was a typo and nobody noticed. Luxomni 02:06, 16 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Added "Map All Coordinates" edit

After adding this template, I went through and named all the existing coord templates, converting "coor dms" to "coord" while I was at it, and copied any coords from individual bridge pages if they were there but not in this list. More coordinates would make the "Map All Coordinates" more impressive. - Denimadept (talk) 19:47, 21 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

What's included in this list edit

Most of the bridges on this list replaced a now-closed ferries. We have a closed bridge on this list so I think including historic ferry lines would also be appropriate. Conversely, there is a proposal for a tunnel to replace the Cape May-Lewes Ferry and I just added the botched tram to the listing. My assumption is that this list should be inclusive and include all current, past or proposed crossings. Caution should be used on the northern end of the river where a tree falling over could form a crossing. Also, crossings that aren't either fixed or regularly scheduled (like Washington Crossing the Delaware) should be excluded. If you have other opinions, let me know so we can reach a concensus. Neutrality Issues in "Camden, New Jersey Problems" section edit

This section provides very little actual fact and seems to be little more than the negatively biased opinions of the author toward the city of Camden. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.225.174.29 (talk) 23:14, 28 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
