Really dumb question - but I'm a novice at this. A few weeks back I wrote a two-sentence entry for the alternative weekly (Icepeople) I edit, which is recognized by Wikipedia (as well as major alt-weekly orgs) as a legit paper. I definitely don't think it was promotional, since all it basically stated the newspaper existed. It was killed within minutes and I was blocked when I asked what was objectionable. Fine, since I have things other than Wikipedia to worry about, but a comment today from someone saying he saw a Wiki refererence to my newspaper got me curious. I'm not trying to get a Wiki page - after being forced to leave the apartment I owned on two hours' notice, and literally losing my equity and most of my belongings, that's small potatoes. But if anyone happens to see my edit history, WTF? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.165.250.40 (talk) 00:27, 2 March 2016 (UTC)Reply
