Gambit's profile edit

Edited Gambit's profile, considering it was completely biased against him and accused him of being an antisocial sociopath, but failed to back it up properly.

  • Re-edited Gambit's profile, in keeping with the description of him on the official DVDs. "Antisocial sociopath" is a bit much, but it's important to make the distinction that Evolution's Gambit lacks the overtly heroic qualities of his comic counterpart. ~Sandoz
    • edited Rougue's profile, Cyclops' usage of Kate was in refence to the Catherine from Shakepere's play, not as a reference as to her name, which is most often Marie or some varition of.71.99.110.7 06:54, 20 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Unsustained accusation of homosexuality edit

"In the episode Power Surge, he demonstrates foreknowledge of Scott's mutation, something that hints there may have been an ongoing relationship with Xavier." THIS IS A NON SEQUITUR!!! Someone is wanting to see an implication of homosexuality in here with no logical reason whatsoever!!!!! Ongoing relationship with Xavier? 'Cause he shows foreknowledge of Scott's mutation? This is subtle but stupid lack of sense!!!-GTB 12:23 PM 9/10/2006 L-P-A(s)E

You're misreading the article. A relationship is just "a connection, association, or involvement." The removed text just implies that Beast probably knew Professor Xavier already, and the two had discussed Scott's abilities in private. Has nothing to do with homosexuality. However, the removal should stay, since the text you removed is uncited speculation, and qualifies as OR. - Debuskjt 17:35, 9 October 2006 (UTC)Reply
Speaking of OR, this article is full of it. The speculation that Magneto just wanted rid of Quicksilver, for example. Paul730 00:07, 28 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Apocevo.png edit

Image:Apocevo.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Magma is not the only NM with her own episode edit

'Magma ... is the only New Mutant who was the lead character of an episode ("Cruise Control").'

Badda Bing Badda Boom (early in season 2) centers around Tabitha even more than Cruise Control centers around Amara, and she was a New Mutant for all but the last couple minutes of it. --64.180.207.196 (talk) 01:57, 24 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

True, for that episode she was a member, but for the marjority of the series overall, she wasn't, so that's what we run with. Dac (talk) 09:13, 25 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Voice actors edit

Any particular reason the Japanese voice actors are listed, and not those of any other country that dubbed XM:E? If not, I'm taking them off. --Noclevername (talk) 02:49, 3 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Image copyright problem with Image:Wolverinevo.PNG edit

The image Image:Wolverinevo.PNG is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
  • That this article is linked to from the image description page.

New Mutants edit

In the episode "Target X" (Season 4 Episode 3) Jean refers to the students as the New Mutants, thus they were called the New Mutants eventually in the series. This is while they are walking down the hallway before going to the 'classroom'. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.61.50.37 (talk) 12:25, 3 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
