Shouldn't the title of this article be List of Italian fighter aces of World War II, to keep to the WWII naming-conventions? Asbestos | Talk 11:32, 17 Jan 2005 (UTC)

I've renamed the article from "List of Italian fighter aces of World War Two" to "List of Italian fighter aces of World War II". Asbestos | Talk 11:47, 17 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Note when I revised/revived this page I put in individual wikilinks in for those with 15 kills or above; they are all red so I stopped at this point as it would seem that no-one (in English) is entering individual pilots. However I have left these red links in, in case anyone does.Saga City 09:04, Jan 28, 2005 (UTC)

According to the Adriano Visconti article he's the top ace with 26 kills. On the other hand, in this list he is just credited with 10. Any sources on this? --Lou Crazy 01:13, 11 April 2006 (UTC)Reply
He scored 26 kills, not 10. I'm changing that because it's completely wrong. - Mobius89 (talk) 15:06, 21 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Why duplicate lists? edit

Why do we have two separate lists, this one and List of World War II aces from Italy? Is there any reason not to merge them? AKRadeckiSpeaketh 00:10, 3 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

No reason to maintain two lists. I recommend merging the other article into this one; this article is tied into the List of World War II aces by country hierarchy. - Canglesea (talk) 16:21, 4 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
Obviously, no objections from me. AKRadeckiSpeaketh 23:09, 4 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
I am in the process of merging the two articles into a sortable table, should be done this month. - Canglesea (talk) 19:47, 15 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
