Cleanup edit

I agree with the cleanup header. I will correct grammar, capitalization, and punctuation errors in this article later today. Bambalabamba 10:35, 7 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

How lovely; IP user User:24.7.77.145 pretty much just undid all of your good work, plus adding in a few more entries that need to be fixed up to boot. I'm tempted to revert. Tarc 05:25, 9 July 2006 (UTC)Reply
Alright, I rv'ed this morning. Not sure offhand how/where to proceed if this IP user persists in this action. Adding this page to the watchlist. Tarc 15:06, 9 July 2006 (UTC)Reply
I'm not sure what's going on with this page either, although going through the history, I had seen a cleanup tag and now it looks like there have been more mistakes now. I'm tempted to put another "cleanup" tag on it. BTW — I created this page, and while my original version certainly wasn't perfect by any means, it was certainly a lot better than the current version. Got another good suggestion here — I'm not sure I like the idea of quotes being added. If they are so important, then perhaps someone should create individual episode entries (like what was done for The Simpsons and then place the quotes there. That way, it'll give some good Wiki editor a chance to further clean up the current article and trim down some of the episode descriptions. [[Briguy52748 22:14, 9 July 2006 (UTC)]]Reply
Sounds like a good idea actually, as editing the page now gives a "this may be too long" warning because of its size. Trimming would do it some good. Another current problem though is an anon user making strange (e.g. Character Quotes That Look Like This) edits and some factually incorrect changes to episode titles and such. Would like to get an explanation from the person, but they do not seem to read the talk page, or even their own userpage. Tarc 02:17, 10 July 2006 (UTC)Reply
Trimmed quotes today. Tarc 22:18, 10 July 2006 (UTC)Reply
I went through and did some more cleanup. Mainly, these involved formatting, removal of minor subplots that really didn't have much to do with the main plot (a few of the better subplots remained; in some cases, I rewrote the summary to incorporate subplot information) and some style issues. The only real episode expansion I did was on the final episode — "The Hair Brained Scheme." [[Briguy52748 15:31, 11 July 2006 (UTC)]]Reply
A couple of editors – at least one an anon – had restored the quotes. To them, I say, I thought we agreed there were no quotes needed. Let's create a page for every episode that would contain these quotes and other relevant info. [[Briguy52748 15:58, 21 July 2006 (UTC)]]Reply
It is the same IP user, User_talk:24.7.77.145. I've left messages on his discussion page with no response, ever. Usually one would go by WP:FAITH in regards to a user's edits, but judging by this person's contribution history, he/she is also vandalizing other pages as well, causing frequent corrections and reverts. I'll strip out the all-caps quotes now and we'll go from there. Again. Tarc 22:03, 21 July 2006 (UTC)Reply
Well, our anon IP user was at it again. Sigh. I reverted back the edits, and put a note in the edit summary asking him not to make future changes. It may help for someone to add a Level 2 or higher warning. [[Briguy52748 18:37, 25 July 2006 (UTC)]]Reply

Separate episode pages edit

It may be time to break out some of these episode descriptions into their own pages. Aside from the fact that some plot descriptions are lengthy and some have attained iconic pop culture status, enough reliable sources exist for several of the episodes of this series that such can be accomplished. Further explanation on car window edit

Perhaps I didn't explain this well enough. On that model there was an option of having windows that could be operated both electrically and via hand crank. Also, the switch could be wired hot, so that the key didn't need to be on to operate it. (this hasn't been said yet, but this is another non blooper that is often pointed out by people who don't know better) Both these two "bloopers" and retractions appeared on TV land. you tube clip

Claims of epilogues in The Honeymoon and Greg Gets Grounded edit

Wikipedia says these two episodes do not have epilogues, but I have heard a few people mention some scenes got lost in syndication. Some claim the two episodes that do not appear to have an epilogue do have epilogues that got lost. The alleged epilogue in "The Honeymoon" supposedly has Carol and Mike in their hotel room talking about the wedding and new things to come. The one that supposedly was in "Greg Gets Grounded" has Bobby and Peter in their back yard watching their frogs jump and talking about how poorly their frogs did in the contest. I don't think they exist. Does anyone know for sure? 108.0.244.168 (talk) 07:26, 2 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Snow white and the seven Dopeys edit

The fact that all the kids wanted to play Dopey was one of the more amusing parts of this episode, why was that deleted? How is it not relevant? John Alan Elson WF6I A.P.O.I. 05:01, 26 July 2014 (UTC)

No reason was given in the text as to why it is relevant, and maybe even if the person had given a an explanation in the edit summary, it may not have been reverted. But, I still think it's just trivial and not relevant. --Musdan77 (talk) 21:20, 27 July 2014 (UTC)Reply
