If the Malaysian Preventive Service flag was "[u]sed ... by Malaysian owned ships when operating in Singaporean waters", doesn't this make it a Malaysian flag rather than a Singaporean flag? @Jacklee: This may set the record for the longest interval between replies... Anyways, the flag was repealed on 1 March 2021. I would guess the government simply forgot about its existence and even the legislation until recently, as Malaysian ships don't seem to fly it either. It was just an obscure flag from an obscure law neither side bothered to enforce or remember. Seloloving (talk) 16:14, 23 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
