refs issue

Real problem between official publisher website [1] All release dates for the first books are wrong :p

Anyone willing to fix that whole mess ? And there is also the library binding ed. to reference. --KrebMarkt 13:25, 4 July 2009 (UTC)

A Library binding edition? As for the Shinshokan dates, it looks to me like they possibly may not have been keeping as much information as they could about the release dates, and that "1999-01-01" (as sourced on vol.1 as January 1990), "XXXX-01-01" and "XXXX-XX-01" are placeholders and partial placeholders when they don't have the information. All I can suggest is to look back in the magazine it was originally published in, Wings... but to even find issues that old would probably be hard. Amazon.co.jp seems to have year and month, and is used as a source on other articles, but the ones it does have disagree with the publisher's dates, although I don't know if this is a case of an actual date/cover date discrepancy. I don't have the original Japanese volumes, so can't source anything from them either, unfortunately. Akata (talk) 13:43, 4 July 2009 (UTC)

Ah, the author's website lists dates exact to the day, but ones that contradict the publisher's ones. Still, to have dates that exact they're probably not wrong, and it is an official source. Akata (talk) 13:54, 4 July 2009 (UTC)

Comparing the dates between Amazon.co.jp and CLAMP-net.com, the CLAMP-net.com dates look like they're the cover dates, with things like December 25 cropping up. Also, any date on CLAMP-net.com which came out on the 10th of the month has a different month listed on Amazon. Akata (talk) 14:21, 4 July 2009 (UTC)

Thanks. I thinks the artists know better when their works released. While the release dates are now verified, i will eventually add refs to verify the ISBNs but there is no hurry. --KrebMarkt 16:14, 4 July 2009 (UTC)
