Out of date

edit

Several of the athletic directors listed are outdated. I've flagged that section as out of date. I'm sorry I don't have time to fix them myself. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.119.235.23 (talk) 23:17, 21 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

Cleanup

edit

I'd like to do some work on making this list more comprehensive, cleaner and better organized but I don't want to start until I get at least some support on what I plan to do. I don't want to go messing with someone else's baby. So anyway, I was thinking that organizing this by conference is probably not the best way to do it since schools can be a member of multiple conference. Here's a few possibilities of reogranizing this...let me know what you think:

  • Alphabettically by school
  • By US State, then list schools alphabettically under the State
  • By division (i.e. Division I, Division II, etc), then by State, then list school alphabettically

Any thoughts? Comments? I prefer the second option, with perhaps the added option of renaming the list to "List of NCAA Division I Athletic Directors"

Once there is some concensus, I'll get to work on it and also make the lists prettier by putting them all into tables. Seancp 17:51, 5 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Since no one commented in the span of a week I took it upon myself to take action, in the spirit of WP:BOLD. Seancp 20:54, 12 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

I thought I'd let you guys know that in the process of making Dan Radakovich, I created {{Infobox AthleticDirector}}. Hopefully it will be of some use to somebody. :) —Disavian (talk/contribs) 06:31, 22 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Some schools appear to be missing

edit

Mostly programs which are new or recent Div I programs. I notice particularly that all the Dakota schools are excluded. john k (talk) 00:32, 25 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Yea, it's probably a little out of date. Feel free to add whatever schools are missing. Seancp (talk) 00:49, 25 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
Yeah even the NCAA's own website lists the Dakota schools as Division II still (http://web1.ncaa.org/onlineDir/exec/divisionListing), so not surprising they aren't on there. So if you know which ones have made the jump up, go ahead and add them Ryan2845 (talk) 02:02, 25 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
North Dakota and South Dakota are both in the Great West Conference this coming year. North Dakota State and South Dakota State are both in the Summit League, and ND State, at least, has been in Div I for a couple of years now. Both those are Division I Conferences. john k (talk) 07:23, 27 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
