Michelle Gildernew, Fermanagh and South Tyrone is listed here as being in the constituency since 2001, with a note that she was defeated in 2015 and re-elected in 2017. However there is some inconsistency as to how MPs who lost in 2015 and were returned in 2017 are handled in the companion articles to this one. See Talk:List of MPs for constituencies in Wales 2017–present for this in relation to Chris Ruane which uses 2017 as the date, and Talk:List of MPs for constituencies in Scotland 2017–present in relation to Jo Swinson which uses the model used here for Michelle Gildernew. It does seem a bit silly for this to be handled differently in different articles so I think for consistency a universal approach should be decided upon. Dunarc (talk) 20:38, 9 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
