Translation of Japanese page edit

I've translated the original Japanese page however I'm not sure whether I should apply it to this page because it is considerably long and there are nearly no references. There are several events commemorated for every day of the year so it risks being overly complicated as well. I would rather not add them all only for them to be deleted again due to the lack of references. I'm a relatively new user so I hope someone reads this so I can get a little advise!
