Purpose of this article

I think this article should be move to List of GAA Competitions unless you plan too add alot more content to it (Gnevin 14:55, 24 December 2006 (UTC))

I do actually plan to add more content to it. Rather than being a straighforward list I want it to include a description of what each competition is. I believe that lists are just a collection of titles? --Eamonnca1 20:41, 24 December 2006 (UTC)

Millenium cup?

somebody wrote in to Nuts Magazine talking aobut "Gaelic football's Millenuim CUp" where lower league teams always get the home advantage. What competition is this??--Macca7174 19:17, 4 March 2007 (UTC)

Never heard of it but weaker teams do get home advantage in the All Ireland Qualifers (Gnevin 22:13, 4 March 2007 (UTC))

Waterford Crystal Cup

Saw this mentioned in an article today in the Limerick Leader. Anyone know what it is? I think it's some sort of hurling competition. --Eamonnca1 (talk) 16:31, 18 December 2007 (UTC)

Its the pre season competition in munster like the O Byrne CupGnevin (talk) 23:00, 17 January 2008 (UTC)

McGeough cup

Saw this one mentioned today, played by Louth and Down. There's an article here [1], it doesn't say whether it was hurling or football but there's an image in there that suggests it's a football competition. Anyone ever heard of it? --Eamonnca1 (talk) 21:18, 2 January 2011 (UTC)
