Add detail or remove

edit

As it stands, this article has no content other than a list of the names themselves. Without at least some detail for each of these, this article stands as a temptation to create individual articles for all of these characters, many of whom are not individually notable. -Harmil 15:08, 12 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

I would heartily agree given the preponderance of recent prods, AFDs, and so forth of various Forgotten Realms articles. I shall, however, leave that up to the more knowledgeable about the general subject of Forgotten Realms. I'm just a guy who's interested in RPGs and occasionally actually get to play in one. I'm not familiar with the FR setting, and certainly not with many of the characters given in this list. --Craw-daddy | T | 17:42, 12 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Major overhaul time

edit

OK, about time this page got worked on. I'd like to make this page more like List of major Dragonlance characters, which is far more useful than this page. First of all, I'm going to remove redlinks to very minor character which have no articles. (In fact, some of these names look very silly and may have been added as a result of vandalism.) Then, we can merge in some of the less notable and/or very stubby character articles. I think videogame characters like those from Baldur's Gate and Neverwinter Nights should be merged only into the appropriate list pages for those games. BOZ (talk) 03:54, 10 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Not sure what to do with Belhifet. He is a character from the Icewind Dale computer games. Baldur's Gate and Neverwinter Nights have the own character list pages, but Icewind Dale does not. I'll leave that one alone, and anyone else can deal with it if they wish. BOZ (talk) 17:14, 10 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
Note that Ellifain Tuuserail seems to be a different version of the Ellifain article which was previously merged into this list. Don't know if anyone would want to include anything from the other version, but there it is. BOZ (talk) 17:22, 10 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
Solaufein was a Baldur's Gate character, so I redirected to that list; feel free to merge as desired. BOZ (talk) 17:49, 10 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
Looks good! Keep it up! -Drilnoth (talk) 17:57, 10 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
I'm going to try and work on this some more... I'm just worried about it getting to big! How should we split it up if it gets too long? -Drilnoth (talk) 15:58, 1 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
Didn't DL have a major and minor characters list? BOZ (talk) 16:50, 1 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
Hmm... I think so. That would probably work. -Drilnoth (talk) 17:12, 1 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Jaezred Chaulssin

edit

I am not sure who edits this page. But I wish to report an incorrect link. Which also

In the description of both Ryld Argith and Pharaun Mizzrym Jaezred Chaulssin is mentioned. However the link goes to the drow deities. Which is an incorrect link. Going to War of the Spider Queen and going to the "Characters" section of the page, either by scrolling down the page, clicking on its link in the contents box at the top of the page. In the Characters Section. I found that it describes the leader of the Jaezred Chaulssin:

Nimor Imphraezl: At first thought to be a Drow, Nimor is in truth only half Drow, the other half being that of a Wyrmshadow Dragon.[55] He is the Anointed Blade of the Jaezred Chaulssin, descendants of the ancient city of Chaulssin, a city now trapped in the Shadow Plane. As the Anointed Blade, it is Nimor's job to carry out the orders of Revered Grandfather Mauzzkyl, as well as to create and carry plans of his own to bring suffering to enemies of the Jaezred Chaulssin. Nimor designs an intricate plan to destroy Menzoberranzan using the armies of Kaanyr Vhok and Horgar Steelshadow, but the campaign eventually fails when Lolth restores spells to her priestesses. In Resurrection he is sent back to witness his victory and his failure. He is also stripped of his anointed blade title.[24][27][30]

Information about the Jaezred Chaulssin was in the former article Vhearaun, but that information was removed from Wikipedia when that article was merged into drow deities. I think there is no clear description of the Jaezred Chaulssin available now. So should we remove the links? Daranios (talk) 14:39, 17 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
