Why's Nick always have to freaking cancel their good shows? - Dpm12 This article is a mess! It needs a complete rewrite, including wikification and breaking into paragraphs. User:Zoe|(talk) 03:35, 17 November 2005 (UTC)Reply

Episode Order Clarifaction edit

Since people tend to often times put episodes (particularly Season Two) out of order constantly, I want to make it clear here that when it comes to episode orders, we go by official continuity (remember, this is important since the show, too has a sense of continuity) and not airdates. Thusly "Identity Crisis" and "The Fenton Menace" comes before "The Ultimate Enemy". "Reality Trip" comes before "Double Cross my Heart" and "Kindred Spirits". Oh, and also "Urban Jungle" is the sixth episode out Season Three, not the first. I hope this can be used as a guideline if people ever get episodes mixed up in the wrong order since these episodes tends to be the victims here. Neo Yi 02:49, 7 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

--Wait, but Danny wiped the Guy's in White's memories in "Reality Trip," but they're still after him in "Double Cross my Heart." Either that's a continuity error, or the order HAS to be wrong.

  • Danny Phantom wiped the memories of the Guys in White so they won't look suspect Danny Fenton and his family as the ghost (Danny Phantom) they are looking for (Quoted from the show: "From now on, you're gonna leave Danny Fenton and his family alone, because he's not the ghost you're looking for.") . He did not wipe it so the Guys in White would stop chasing Danny Phantom. While in DCMH, they did went to the Fenton household, that's only because they traced Tucker's PDA there (whom they assume is an assiocate of DP) where they immediately claimed Fenton and Phantom were not the same due to them assuming Danny to be too "pre-pubescent" to be one, so they moved on to another target when they felt neither of the Fentons assiocated with Danny Phantom. Spoiler needs information edit

I think the episode list still needs a lot of information. Where are the article pages? Dar book 12:16, 28 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

UPDATED edit

Added new episodes shown in Marathon on the Latino side, I think. Pice are taken with camera, not screen cap. Someone help? Moocow 18:32, 4 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fear no more! edit

I plan to split the list up season by season. That way, though it may still be a little long, we can get that warning out of our hair.

Summaries too long edit

From a brief skim of the page theres a few episodes with very long summaries, summaries should not cover episodes scene by scene, please shorten them to the key plot points. Discordance 00:27, 15 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

Advertisment edit

To me, it seems this article reads like an advertisment, the sumeries are to long, and it doesn't seem to have a NPOV. I suggest we give either: A) Every season it's own article and summerize what happens or B) Give each episode it's own aritlce, like wikipedia did Avatar: The Last Airbender. It definitly needs to be cleaned up. Someone needs to tag it. I would, But I don't know how. Eirra 19:30, 3 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Reality Trip special homage to Infinity Gauntlet? edit

The idea of a group of gems that, when combined in a gauntlet, can give the user reality - warping powers seems to be an obvious reference to Jim Starlin's Infinity Gauntlet comic series starring Thanos the Mad Titan. Should this be noted?

Yep. UNKNOWNcookies 01:53, 30 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fixed it up edit

I fixed the article up. it seems good as it is. It looks better, cleaner, and shorter. (11987 04:22, 5 July 2006 (UTC))Reply

New episodes title edit

I don't know how to put them on the episodes page, but hopefully someone does! Episode:

41. Eye for an Eye

42. Infinite Realms

43. Girl's Night Out

44. Torrent of Terror

45. Forever Phantom —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.249.70.74 (talk) .

Abbreviation edit

Is it just me, or does anyone else feel that the "Abbreviation" heading is useless? Would someone take it out for now (I tried, but there was this extra column sticking out with nothing in it). If you revert it, please explain why you feel that it is necessary to have such a heading..--Salvax (Speak on me | What I did)--20:46, 9 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

I posted the abbreviations because the abbreviations are commonly used within conversations in the fandom much like Sherlockians use for the Sherlock Holmes stories. It's much easier to use the abbreviations, but like the Sherlock Holmes abbreviations some can be confusing or not easy to remember. That is why I posted the abbreviations and why I believe they are a useful addition to the page. --Skyechan

Episode pages edit

Why are there 3 different pages for episodes according to their season? Season one, Season two, & Season three! Do we need all these pages when we already have this page? I say we redirect all these pages to List of Danny Phantom episodes. Let me know who favors this, and I'll do it...--Salvax (Speak on me | What I did)--21:01, 10 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

I've actually been curious on how to get rid of those three pages myself. Although I've been contributing to the 3rd season page, I'm not sure why those pages exist in the first place. --Skyechan 04:33, 11 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

You can list them for deletion at Articles for deletion. Or you can be be bold and change those pages to redirects. Pacific Coast Highway {blahHappy Halloween!WP:NYCS} 23:14, 11 October 2006 (UTC)Reply
I went ahead and redirected all three pages to point to List of Danny Phantom episodes.--Salvax (Speak on me | What I did)--01:20, 12 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

who on earth has renamed all those episodes its a travesty!

Screenshots edit

Who took the screenshots away?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I second this, the title cards were the opening parts of the show, and identifiable at a glance. Can we restore it to it's previous look? Moocow 23:09, 25 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
    • Please see Wikipedia:Non-free content criteria #8. Fair-use images may not be used in galleries or lists, as that use does not reflect any critical commentary on the images. Since the images are copyrighted by someone else, we have rules to follow about how we can and cannot use them. The use in lists of episodes is not allowed. (ESkog)(Talk) 14:38, 26 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
  • They ditched the images, since that was too much in-depth content about the show. If we were discussing more and more info about episodes (like what happened to this or that), then we should have made a Danny Phantom wiki... Blake Gripling 08:02, 15 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Single episodes edit

I plan on redirecting these per WP:EPISODE soon. Information from multiple secondary sources must be present for a single episode to need an article. This includes reception and development. Single plot summaries and trivia don't make a substantial article. I suggest Wikia and tv.com as alternate venues for this information. TTN 19:10, 30 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

What if I don't agree? Anybody else who doesn't? Those are fine articles with detailed plot summary, trivia, goofs and allusions, perhaps this information isn't so important to you, but others might find it interesting and therefor they have a reason for existence on Wikipedia. gLes 07:47, 6 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Ok, let me put it another way: after considering the guidelines I too find it useless to publish detailed plot summaries (though someone must've spent some good hours writing them, I didn't find any source where they could've been gotten from), but still, the Trivia and Allusions are interesting and we shouldn't cut the chances of useful future additions which go very low if people see only redirections to the list of episodes. And the main page of the series is going to be spammed with all the trivia that people can't find on the specific episode's page. So I still say we should leave them as they were. gLes 12:43, 7 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

OK, this Danny Phantom article is made only to discuss general info about the show, not provide too much in-depth look at Danny. If you intend to do such stuff, then why not make a Danny Phantom wiki and put all the episode info there? Blake Gripling 08:00, 15 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

@Gripling- Are you suggesting that we make individual articles for each episode? Haven't we already done that, and it hasn't worked? What is the problem to making Wikipedia broad yet specialized at the same time? Why do we need an entirely different Wikia page for Danny Phantom? I just want an answer why we can't pour information into the open-source encyclopedia. Moocow 03:48, 18 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

I miss the episode summaries. Those should be brought back.--Mullon 05:11, 13 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Season 3 list edit

The season 3 list, particularly the original air dates, seems to be constantly in flux. It's irksome and someone should change that.

According to TV.com, the first episode (Eye for an Eye) will air in July not September.

About the Links for the Epis.... edit

When I clicked on the link for Danny Phantom episodes, the pages got me into the wrong places.Like, when I went to the "Teacher of the Year" link, it got me to another page about Teachers of the Year. That is 1 of the problems of why the page needs cleanup, so somebody please correct the links. It would be VERY helpful for someone to do that. Here's a link to get started. Article Merge edit

Should this article be merged with the main article because it would be easier if we put this on the episode section of Danny Phantom. Mrsanitazier 17:06, 11 July 2007

Not to me. The front page of Danny Phantom is already filled with enough information that by adding all 53 episode as a list is just making it even more unncessary and messy. I'm not too sure about the list of actors and actresses there, too when the character pages tells who plays who. Neo Yi 23:57, 12 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Season 4? edit

Exactly what is the source of that info? I thought Phantom Planet was the final episode and I can't find anything about this "DP movie". DreamingLady 07:10, 25 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Episodes edit

Starting today, I'm going to redo the episode pages. I've already done a page for Mystery Meat. I might not do the episode plot, trivia, or quotes so feel free to do that. Also, I might not do images either, but I might. SonicX000000 18:28, 9 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

dvd?= edit

anybody know of any dvds?

  • A DVD was released in Latin America, containing The Ultimate Enemy and 3 other regular episodes.

Airdates edit

Okay, what is up with the airdates. In season 1, most of the episodes had aired in 2004, but someone put 2003, when the show hadn't aired yet, while the rest were put in 2004, while they had aired in 2005. In season 2, I think all the episodes were correct except "Memory Blank. And for season 3, Eye for an Eye, which hasn't aired in the United States yet, was put in 2006. Could someone fix this, because I don't have time. SonicX000000 17:29, 14 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

  • Indeed. The show aired first in 2004 and not 2003 as someone seems to keep putting it as. It's 2004, not 2003. Not to mention "Memory Blank" did not air in Decemeber 24, but aired in June. (Neo Yi 20:26, 15 August 2007 (UTC))Reply

Rage Parody edit

In the The Ultimate Enemy, episode when older Danny askes himself what they used to do he said "Playing Video games and Raging Against the Machine" Should this be added Mr.Willison (talk) 01:42, 1 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Centralized TV Episode Discussion edit

Over the past months, TV episodes have been redirected by (to name a couple) TTN, Eusebeus and others. No centralized discussion has taken place, so I'm asking everyone who has been involved in this issue to voice their opinions here in this centralized spot, be they pro or anti. Discussion is here [1]. Even if you have not, other opinions are needed because this issue is affecting all TV episodes in Wikipedia. --Maniwar (talk) 23:18, 16 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Pilot? edit

There was never a offical Pilot to Danny Phantom? the first episode after the 2004 KCAs was Mystery Meat, could someone take that down?Onepiece226 (talk) 23:39, 31 January 2008 (UTC)Onepiece226Reply

Deletion edit

I just nominated this article for deletion. It seems that it has multiple problems. But it also doesn't seem notable, which I'm tagging it for in a minute. Fix these issues, and prove that it's notable. Otherwise, this article is gonna get deleted. Not to sound mean, but this article just seems pretty...inadequate. Have a good one, people.

Semi-vandalism? 20K of article content dropped 8 August 2011 edit

On 8 August 2011, about 20K characters of article content disappeared, including all the episode summaries! There is no edit comment to explain why this was done, so I'm inclined to consider it to be vandalism. The last version before this edit is [2], which should probably be restored, but I can't find a way of retrieving that content as wikitext. (The adjacent Undo link only gives me an edit page with the current page contents, since there has been intermediate edits.) Can someone help? The current contents are much inferior to contents from a week ago. 81.232.10.124 (talk) 20:24, 12 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Proposed episode reordering edit

The episodes are currently ordered according to iTunes, which doesn't make any particular sense to me. Typically speaking, episodes are ordered by airdate and numbered as they are released. iTunes' ordering is somewhat random. I propose reordering by airdate, which can be sourced (S3 in that example). I would also propose the removal of the "production code" column, as nonsensical fabrication. iTunes doesn't list any of those production codes. (Again, S3 in that example) Cyphoidbomb (talk) 01:43, 3 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

The double episodes are counted as, well, double episodes edit

This is per production codes, the complete series DVD box set, and TV Guide among others. "Reign Storm" is episode 21/22, "Reality Trip" is episode 37/38, "The Ultimate Enemy" is episode 39/40, and "Phantom Planet" is episode 52/53. This brought the total episode count to 53, rather than 49.

37-40 edit

As I put in my edit summary, I found this possible ordering error odd,so I'm bringing it up here. Before my edit, the episodes went 39-40/17-18, 38/19, 37/20. since this seemed too odd to not be intentional, I thought I'd bring it up here for clarification. 70.226.166.202 (talk) 01:45, 17 February 2020 (UTC)Reply
