New Records edit

When updating a record, please place a star (*) after the time until it is ratified by British Swimming, i.e. it appears on British Swimming's official record listings [1]. Please also include a reference in the Notes column, linking to the results of the meet at which the record was broken. Once ratified, the star (*) and reference note can be removed.

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on List of British records in swimming. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

Another record? edit

I don't know how these things work, but if the time of 1:44.91 from 4 × 200 metre men freestyle relay in Gwangju 2019 counts as a new national record for 200 metre freestyle, doesn't the time of 46.14 from 4 × 100 metre men medley relay at the same event replace the 47.87 record listed here as well? - Droigheann (talk) 22:55, 29 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

No, only relay times by first swimmers are eligible to count.Montell 74 (talk) 20:09, 10 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
I see. Thanks for explaining! - Droigheann (talk) 10:30, 11 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
