Her reported stint with TAA in the 60's is remarkable, considering the article also says she was born in 1960. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.38.24.65 (talk) 09:15, 4 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Overcapitalisation

edit

In anticipation of protest from Panjandrums and other devotees of Important Positions, I note that 'lord mayor' (like chief justice, king, etc, etc,) is set in lower case UNLESS it forms part of an individual's title, e.g., "Lord Mayor Lisa Scaffidi". (See the New Oxford Dictionary for Writers and Editors (2005), at page 220. I would also cap-initialise such words in a context wherein an individual is exclusively denoted, e.g., The Queen, The Lord Mayor was present. . . (but 'there were several queens and lord mayors present'). Cheers Bjenks (talk) 01:58, 29 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Breach of Integrity and Compliance

edit

A new controversy section should be created to include recent issues regarding a breach of integrity and compliance.

The current issues regard a failure to disclose the following gifts that have or may have had conflicts of interests:

  1. 2008 Beijing Olympics hospitality package
  2. 2009 Leeuwin Concert tickets
  3. 2008 Broome Cup accommodation

The investigation appears to have been kicked off from the follow article SEC Charges BHP Billiton With Violating FCPA at Olympic Games — Preceding unsigned comment added by 106.68.58.209 (talk) 09:48, 6 October 2015 (UTC)Reply
