There appear to be no useful sources for the statements "No.115 is officially regarded as "preserved", but recovery is a source of speculation. It may not lay as deep as long thought. Many believe that the locomotive is not far down, probably lying within the confines of the embankment. " It seems to be just uninformed wishful thinking. The only way the engine's location and the pit's depth can be determined is if someone ventured into it. Has there been any exploration attempts to solve the two mysteries, a drone being sent down maybe?104.62.166.110 (talk) 02:20, 28 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
