Regarding the heights of the water, Google Earth is showing the reservoir has a height of 135 metres, the canal has a height of 140 metres, and the nearby River Rea has a height of 137 metres although difficult to be sure due to trees in the way. So it is clear the reservoir cannot feed the canal. 92.232.180.211 (talk) 21:12, 8 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
