This article states the Italian Destroyers "Pantera" and "Tigre" were scuttled. Whereas an eye witness, Lieutenant Webb, flying a Wellesley bomber states they were sunk by gunfire from "HMS Kingston". Although the author does concede that reference books disagree, this is not unusual for the time.Cite error: There are <ref> tags on this page without content in them (see the help page). Further Wikipedia concedes that gunfire from "HMS Kingston" destroyed the "Pantera" and "Tigre", but states after being "scuttled", rather than just abandoned in shallow water.
