In several cases, we just have to avoid using the most recent wayback version. Alternatively, the new link at https://apps.rainn.org/policy/ may provide more up-to-date info, but it seems slow to render and presents a degree of challenge to find the information of interest. Otherwise, the older version might provide a more easily understood display of the information.

There are some caveats and additional work to be done:

  • Some of the links don't actually go to the expected page (link is based on what was provided in current article).
  • I haven't compared the data at these links to the laws as stated in the article.
  • I also haven't compared the data at these links to other sources of current law.
  • It's not clear that the links provided are intended to be persistent.
