Infobox edit

I tried to use another (SNU) university's material as a template, but it didn't work. Maybe some-one else can fix it and apply it:

{{Infobox University | name = Konyang University | native_name = 건앙대학교 | motto =
([English]]
| established = [[]] 1991 | type = Private | president = Kim Hee-soo | city = Nonsan | province = [[ ]] | country = South Korea

female faculty edit

KYU apparently has the highest percentage of women professors (i.e., instructors) of any university in South Korea. I'll see if I can find documentation for this.

Money edit

For 2014, the Korean government announced a change in financial support to universities. The idea is to support fewer schools (public and private) but to give them a lot more money each. In part, this is a response to the declining enrollment due to the country's demographics. Colleges and universities were given the chance to submit projects that the Ministry of Education might approve and heavily finance. Around July first, the government announced the winners. Konyang University had submitted seven different projects. All seven were approved for funding. Unfortunately, this important government action does not seem to have been covered in the English-language Korean press. Kdammers (talk) 09:28, 10 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

Here is something about the government's changes and about Konyang, but it is from before the July announcement: http://observer.yu.ac.kr/news/quickViewArticleView.html?idxno=922 .Kdammers (talk) 05:33, 26 July 2014 (UTC)Reply
