Why "was"?

edit

This article from yesterday says its under construction after almost going bankrupt last year. It should reopen this summer and could also produce electricity. Renata (talk) 19:59, 4 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Doesn't "is the first" mean the same as "the only one"? Because there are also other geothermal stations in the Baltic Sea region (in Denmark) [1]. If one could argue that the Thisted belongs to the North Sea region, not to the Baltic Sea region, the Copenhagen station is certainly in the Baltic Sea region. I think that the first sentence should be reworded. Beagel (talk) 12:42, 10 May 2008 (UTC)Reply
OK. Novickas (talk) 13:37, 10 May 2008 (UTC) Although can't find info on when the other plant or plants were built - safer to say was. Novickas (talk) 13:41, 10 May 2008 (UTC)Reply
The plant in Thisted was built as demonstration plant in 1984 and in 1988 it was expanded to the present size. The Copenhagen plant was constructed in 2002-2004.[2] Beagel (talk) 15:46, 10 May 2008 (UTC)Reply
