i removed the line that stated "On 3rd March 2007 there was a crash on the A1 here which killed 2 adults and 2 Children" as:

A) I dont see what relevence it has to the village itself (as callous as it sounds people die all over the country everyday and people dont input these details on every village or town page)

B) Contrary to popular belief the accident was actually at a place called Little Holtby near Great Fencote - the press as usual didnt do their research and named the wrong place (its all within a couple of miles but its not accurate as such)

I would support you on that. Every road fatality is a tragedy. But with over 50,000 road deaths every year in the English-speaking world, en.wikipedia cannot carry details of them all...
