I think we need to discuss if the organization is truly disbanded or not. The news circulating right now is that Khilafatul Muslimin branch in East Lampung that disbanded itself, but not the entirety of Khilafatul Muslimin. So far, there hasnt been any news regarding actual disbandment of the entire organization and one branch disbanded itself does not translate to the entire organization getting disbanded.
What do you all think? Nyanardsan (talk) 14:17, 13 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Nyanardsan: I found several news containing "Khilafatul Muslimin" and the Indonesian word "bubar", here is some news that could I find:
[1] Only the title states "dissolved", but the entirety does not contain such word.
[2] Said Aqil Siradj stated that Khilafatul Muslimin is now dissolved, although himself does not give the dissolution date explicitly.
I agree with your statement that Khilafatul Muslimin is only dissolved in East Lampung by their members. I will update my reply with more online news that could I found. —JeromeWillett15:31, 13 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
Although the organization at East Lampung already disbanded itself, may be you are correct in some way. In another place like Maros, local ban already imposed to the organization [3]. I think we need to put much update as the news still developing at least one or two weeks. I think we cannot say the complete formal dissolution until the court ruling (as similar case with Jama'ah Ansharut Daulah, because both Jama'ah Ansharut Daulah and Khilafatul Muslimin both are unregistered entity, and likely Khilafatul Muslimin will be dissolved by this way) or multi-ministerial banning decree (in extreme case similar to the ban of Islamic Defenders Front). I will change information in the wiki for now. Mmnashrullah (talk) 02:55, 14 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
