Requested move edit

Kerry was best-known as Kerry Von Erich, and should be listed there. I've moved the rest of the Von Erich clan to their proper places, but can't move Kerry due to a redirect being in place. --HBK 02:44, 18 November 2005 (UTC)Reply

Support He more known by that name, only wrestled under one other name for any significant period (Texas Tornado in WWE) but WWE retroactively refers to him as Kerry Von Erich and no company can claim they own the name.

IIRC, they referred to him, at least early in his run, as "The Texas Tornado" Kerry Von Erich. --HBK 03:04, 20 November 2005 (UTC)Reply

Still, if you own any old vids of him in the WWF, the announcers still would call him Kerry Von Erich. Towards the end of his employment with WWE, I own a match with him facing Shawn Michaels on Prime Time Wrestling, and the late Lord Alfred Hayes referred to him at least twice as "Kerry Von Erich". --- User:Lawrence142002

"Texas Tornado" edit

When you search for that phrase in Wikipedia's search box, it gives you a page about a hockey team. I added a "see..." tag on top of that page. Can be found here: Texas Tornado.--SlightlyInsane 18:18, 31 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

"Career" section cleanup edit

I think the "Career" section of the article needs a little clean up. From reading it, its hard to tell if he started using a prosthetic foot shortly after his motorcyle accident or at some point during his brief WWF career. Craigmoore 04:45, 26 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Removed term "Jobber to the stars" edit

Stupid term and a violation of WP:NEO. --Endlessdan and his problem 13:35, 4 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Cause of Death edit

Von Erich's cause of death is listed in the sidebar as "multiple gunshot suicide." However, under the Death section in the article body, it states that he "committed suicide by a single shot to the heart." These statements are contradictory. Someone with accurate, verifiable information should reconcile these. Justanothereditor98027 (talk) 07:49, 6 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

I was on the Lake Dallas Fire Department the day he died. First his dad didn't find him. Second no way he killed himself. He crawled up inside a briar patch as if he were hiding. Hiw he was able to fire a .44 slug into his heart is beyond me. 2605:59C8:43DE:2510:18D2:9343:C423:EB7A (talk) 20:20, 10 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
