NPOV, copyvio and possible COI notes edit

Per the admin noticeboard, in November-December 2020 it appears there was at least some lazy paraphrasing (and/or outright copyvio) by mostly-IP editors who are cribbing from the same sources. In each case they are importing mostly-positive sources that are at least fluffy in tone without a lot of other contributions to Wikipedia. Some aren't great sources and appear to be fawning biographies, which was magnified when lazy-copied into Wikipedia. It appears the lazy sourcing may have impacted others as well. I don't see hard evidence of a COI but it's not a good look either way. I've warned each of the ones I could find re possible COI and/or NPOV as appropriate. I believe these are the ones I warned:

I believe those are the ones who added most of the fluffy content and are worth keeping an eye on.49ersBelongInSanFrancisco (talk) 18:13, 26 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
